Why Are Vaccines Relevant?

Now so more than ever, vaccines are crucial to global health. Regardless of national borders, disease affects mankind everywhere. Throughout the year 2020, mankind saw the devastating effects of disease on a global scale. This affected jobs and economy, it changed everyday life and activities, and took hundreds of thousands of lives. While this was America’s reality this past year, this is the devastating reality for many low-income nations every day. Individuals in developing countries struggle for basic necessities such as clean water or healthy living conditions. The lack of these things results in disease and weakened health throughout the population. As a larger, better established nation, it is a high-income country’s job to aid developing countries through financial or other means.
